Firgelli actuators in existing systems

I’ve got an older DIY setup using Firgelli actuators to move a few panels in my workshop, and one of them is starting to fail. I’m nervous about swapping it out because I don’t want to change the mounting or mess up the control system. Has anyone successfully replaced a Firgelli actuator without redesigning their setup? What should I be double-checking—stroke length, voltage, brackets, or something else?

I recently replaced a few alternative actuators myself and found a lot of help in looking for an Alternative to Linak linear actuators that matched the specs closely. Key things to watch are stroke length, mounting type, and current/voltage compatibility. I also made sure the direction of travel matched the original setup. Taking careful measurements and checking the wiring saved me from having to readjust the whole system after installation.
