Renting a reliable moving truck for a cross-country trip
Preparing for a major move across several states next month, and I’ve been researching the best options for a large truck rental that can handle the distance. I’m looking for something that is well-maintained and comfortable enough for a two-day drive, as I’ll be doing most of the steering myself. I’ve noticed that some of the commercial leasing companies offer much newer fleets than the typical "budget" rental places, which gives me a bit more peace of mind regarding reliability. I’m curious about the fuel efficiency on the 16-foot box trucks and whether it’s worth paying a bit extra for a diesel engine for better torque on the mountain passes.
