Problems with returns in COD offers

I expected. Some days approvals are fine, other days half the orders just don’t get picked up or come back. I get that COD always has this risk, but I’m trying to figure out what’s considered normal and what can actually be improved. Do you just accept a certain loss rate, or are there ways to manage this better without killing volume?

COD always comes with some pain, but it doesn’t have to be chaos. From my experience, a lot depends on how well the offer is positioned and how the call center handles confirmation. Clear expectations on delivery time and price help reduce refusals a lot. Also, GEO choice matters — some regions are way more disciplined with COD than others.
