Always nearby when care happens
You don’t need to keep grabbing your phone while caring for your baby. Cubs are designed to stay where care happens — next to the crib, nursing chair, or changing table — making logging faster, easier, and more accurate during exhausting newborn days.
Perfect for multiple caregivers
Parents, grandparents, nannies, and partners can all help track care with a simple button press. No apps or complicated steps needed. Everyone stays in sync effortlessly
Makes tracking simple
Quickly track milk amounts, pumping sessions, breast sides, sleep, diapers, vitamins, and more — without trying to remember everything later. One less mental load for busy parents.
Instant answers when your brain is tired
Can’t remember when the last diaper change was? Wondering how long baby has been asleep? Not sure if the vitamin was already given? Cubs help you quickly check the last activity for extra peace of mind.
Stay connected even when away
Perfect for working parents and caregivers. Cubs send real-time updates to your phone so you know when your baby ate, slept, or completed an important care activity.
Designed with lower radiation exposure in mind
Unlike phones, Cubs do not continuously transmit signals or act like routers. WiFi activates only briefly while syncing data, helping reduce ongoing RF exposure for families who are mindful about radiation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Understanding Your Cubs
What is the Breastfeeding Cub?
The Breastfeeding Cub is a small smart breastfeeding tracker. One press starts and stops a nursing session, and the R/L switch records which side you fed from. Every session syncs to the Cubtale app, so you get a full feeding timeline (side, duration and time since the last feed) without reaching for your phone.
Do I need an app subscription to use the Cub?
Every Breastfeeding Cub comes with a gift of 3 months of Cubtale Premium, free for you and all family members connected to your account. It starts when you pair your Cub, so you get the full app experience from day one.
Can I use it as a breastfeeding timer?
Yes. One click starts the built-in stopwatch and another stops it. The Cub logs the start time, duration and side for you, so you don’t need a separate breastfeeding timer or clock. You can quickly check your last session, so you always know which side to start on next.
Can I wear the Breastfeeding Cub?
Yes. It comes with a lanyard, so you can wear it as a necklace, keep it in your pocket or leave it next to your nursing chair. It’s a simple alternative to a breastfeeding watch or phone app, especially during night feeds.
Will it remind me when the next feed is due?
Yes. The Cubtale app includes smart reminders for upcoming feeds, built from the sessions you log with your Cub.
Can I share feeding data with my pediatrician or lactation consultant?
Yes. The app turns your logs into reports you can share with your pediatrician or lactation consultant, showing how often, how long and on which side your baby fed.
Does the Breastfeeding Cub need Wi-Fi?
It uses Wi-Fi only briefly while syncing a log. Unlike a phone, it doesn’t transmit continuously. If Wi-Fi is down, it stores your 5 most recent logs and syncs them once you’re back online.
Do Cubs send data via Bluetooth?
Cubs require a Wi-Fi connection. If Wi-Fi is unavailable, your Cub can store your 5 most recent logs and sync them to the app once Wi-Fi is available again.
Do Cubs have memory?
Yes! Cubs can store up to 5 of your most recent logs in memory and sync them to the app once your Wi-Fi is back.
To sync your logs, long-press the center button to open the memory screen, where you’ll see your most recent entries. Press the center button again to sync your saved logs to the app.
How long do Cub batteries last?
A fully charged Cub device can last for 3-4 months without recharging. Breastfeeding Cub may require charging once a month as it is used more frequent.
Can I pair multiple Cub devices to the same activity and same child?
Yes, we understand that sometimes you need multiple devices for the same activity tracking, simply because you'd like to keep your devices in different locations. Pairing two devices into the same tracker and same profile is certainly possible.
How do I update my Cub settings?
Press all three buttons on your Cub at the same time to open your Cub’s settings. From here, you can customize activity settings, check your Wi-Fi connection, unpair your Cub, and update its software.
How do I reset my Cub device?
Press all three buttons on your Cub at the same time to open your Cub’s settings. From here, select unpair your Cub, and click the center button.
