That said, we apply industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect sensitive information and limit access to authorized personnel only.

In connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger or acquisition)
We may share data with trusted service providers (such as hosting, analytics, customer support, or infrastructure providers) who process information solely on our behalf and under strict confidentiality and data protection obligations. Their use of your data is limited to supporting Cubtale.

Cubtale does not sell personal information. We do not allow advertisers to directly access personal or baby-related data. Any sponsored content or product recommendations, where applicable, are presented in a way that does not disclose your personal information to third parties.
Security Measures
We care deeply about the security of your information and take significant steps to protect it. Although no method of transmission over the Internet is entirely secure, Cubtale uses industry-standard security technologies and practices across our mobile application, Cubs smart devices, and platform infrastructure.
Cubtale App and Account Security Your account is password-protected. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Social logins (Apple, Google, Facebook) are protected by OAuth authentication protocols.

Data Storage and Encryption All data is encrypted both at rest and transit. This includes encryption during automated backups and replication across multiple data zones. Personally identifying profile information and baby health logs are stored separately and linked thought secure, encoded keys, accessible only to authenticated users.

Smart Cubs Devices Our Cubs devices use secure chip technology and encrypted Bluetooth communication. All communication between Cubs, the mobile app, and our servers are protected via SSL. Firmware updates are delivered via secure OTA (Over-the-Air) channels to ensure up-to-date security.

Hosting and Infrastructure Cubtale is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), where data is protected using encryption. All endpoints are secured via SSL and accessed over HTTPS. While we maintain a 99.7% availability SLA, the app includes offline features for uninterrupted access.

Third-Party Payments We do not store your financial information. In-app payments are securely handled through Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and purchases on our website are managed via Shopify. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more details.

Employee and Sub-processor Safeguards All Cubtale employees and contractors are required to sign confidentiality agreements and receive regular training on data security practices. We also work with select sub-processors (listed below) under strict data protection agreements. These partners help us operate, analyze, and improve our services.

Our sub-processors include:
-
Amazon Web Services (USA & UAE): Cloud hosting
-
Google, LLC (USA): Analytics, App delivery, payments
-
Amplitude, Inc. (USA): Analytics
-
Apple Inc. (USA): App delivery, payments
-
Slack Technologies, Inc. (USA): Internal communication
-
Hubspot (USA): CRM, email communication

While we go beyond typical consumer-grade protections, we cannot guarantee that information exchanged over the Internet is completely secure. We continuously monitor security developments, and apply updates as needed.

Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, and we employ monitoring, logging, and internal controls to help prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

We regularly assess the security of our systems through internal reviews and third-party security testing, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, to help identify and remediate potential risks.

We may not be able to accommodate your request in every situation, but if that is the case, we will let you know why.
